I managed to win this....and at a pretty good price! The problem is it's 2000 kms away and has similar issues to my existing bed. I knew all this but still couldn't stop myself from buying it. I love these old beds.

I happened to be watching this one purely out of interest. I scored a radiator and mount of the same seller a few weeks back and have yet to be able to pick it up for one reason or another. He's been good to deal with.

Bed

andrews520, how does that bed look all. That was a good buy. Post a few photos more. They are a one of a kind bed.
Congrats.

Well....I'm cautiously optimistic. I won't really know until I see it but here are some additional photos the seller sent through. All looks pretty good except for where a battery box has been added to the rear of the floor. It's missing the headache rack but I have one of those. There's no tailgate but I believe there's one of those on it's way to me in Melbourne from Calgary as I type this!!

Bed

Oh heck yeah, from what I can see it's in real workable condition. Any floor rust lines along the outside of the body? I saw a tail gate in the sellers photo, is he keeping it for another bed he has?
I would sandblast it then POR 15 it so it will last 30 more years or longer
Glad you got it, and yes they are getting real hard to find anymore. It's a keeper.
