Another Exhaust Manifold Tick Tick Tick Question

I have searched on here and have yet to find a direct answer so hopefully i don't get blasted for asking. I have the tick tick tick in my 2000 LC. Started a couple months ago. The question I have is, do I need to replace it. I understand the 02 censor may eventually fail, but other than that, can it do any real damage to the vehicle? My mechanic (who would get the job) said he wouldn't bother. He said the leak is minor. I use this vehicle only for hunting and it is not my daily driver. We do not have emissions where I live so that would affect it. Any insight is appreciated.

Leave it. It can only get worse, but will probably not change. If it diminishes after a minute or 2, don't worry about it. I don't with mine.

yeah, it heats up and the ticking goes away. sound is annoying but I don't really care as long as the deer don't recognize the sound of my LC lol.

It may be considered and emission issue, if you find the right dealer. If so, Toyota may fix it for you. They did both mine free, one was just over 60K miles the other much sooner. Worth a try.
