I dont think 80 series where brought into Canada, you'll see American ones like mine and Hotwods or Japanese RHD ones.
Any plans to head towards Toronto while you're up here?
No just stuck here in Ottawa working. And I think it's hotter here than when I left Texas.

Did you reseal the pump prior to install? My 02 Dodge CTD leaked like no other when I got it. $30 seal kit fixed it right up.

There is an after market pump seal kit with bigger o-rings. Get it and don't look back. Mine were all cummins parts and it lasted about 1500 miles. When I originally rebuilt it I thought it needed bigger o-rings I was right it's a common problem with an easy fix

That OEM part is the same in the kit. It comes with that too

Well I screwed everything up!!
I'm pretty sure they gave me a first gen pump, so I can't dry turn the tires but as soon as the tire rolls it turns fine. And I may have screwed the vacuum pump cause it has a lot of "blowby" now.
Anyways it was a long weekend so I drove over 600kms towing my boat. And averaged 12.9L per 100kms. That's 3L better than the taco and diesel is about 10 cents cheaper per liter.
Here's the new pump, not mine just a pic

And what my original looked like, again just a pic not mine.

Are you using hydro boost brakes or the original vacuum. I wouldn't think it would matter the pump should be the same. You can turn up the pressure. West Texas offroad has a good writeup on it.

Question. Do you think there is enough room for a mechanical clutch fan to fit? Still waiting on parts from Dustin to start my conversion

I considered doing electric fans but the stock clutch works so well..

got a new toy today! Towed it for over 1 hour on the highway with no problems. Takes forever to get up to speed but holds and cruises well at 55-60MPH. No this wont be my tow rig, the tacoma will be but its getting a new frame at the moment. Guesstimated the weight at around 2500 pounds.

So I was trying to figure out the reverse lights and I found that if I ground the reverse switch on the trans controller, where the black test lead is, it powers the reverse light output and I can hear a relay click and my R dash light and reverse lights come on. The reverse output is the kinked red wire all by itself on the right connector.
So does anyone know why it's not working? Why is the reverse not closing the switch?
