Another 60 in Alabama

It's also grinding into 4th and if I let off the gas in 4th it pops out of gear. The rest of the gears are fine.

I changed the oil in my transmission and transfer case today. This is what the transmission drain plug looked like. Is this an excessive amount of break in material after 1000 miles or so?

Was a picture suppose to accompany this post? Or were we supposed to imagine what it looked like?

I also took the top cover off and took a picture of the gears. It looks like the one is rounded on the left side of the gear.
