I'm guessing that 90% will drive up Saturday morning after meeting up a the Ba'Ja, or on 87 in convoy. I'm heading up to camp Friday night with three-five others.
Probably joining the convoy Sat morning. I may have 1 or 3 extra vehicles with me.;p

you wheeling in a 40 , are you prepared to be that cool againWe'll be in the convoy Sat morning. Towing the 40 and my son will be driving the 4Runner![]()
I'm going up early Saturday morning and my son Diego will be following with his 85 pick up. We'll probably go really slow up the hill since the 4 banger pushing 35's will do about 15 mph up Sunflower. Has there been a time set for those who want to meet at the Maverick in Payson?
Juan, I haven't heard of any as of yet, however if the group leaves the Ba'ja at around 7:30, and it is 72.3 miles to the Maverick and they do the speed limit – it should take about 1 hour 44 mins - so 9:15 at the Maverick in Payson - rolling out shortly after for a 45 minute run to the trail head from there.
(Man this sounds like a SAT test question no matter how I put it)
However, if you want to meet up with us early at the trail head prior to the run there will plenty of bacon and eggs and camp bisquits!
Your right Bman, too long.
I can hardly wait; this weekend can't come quickly enough.
