update: i'm able to make the date, but since we leave the country on 6/1 my wife isn't too keen on me being gone. not unreasonable when we'll be out of the country for 18 days.
i might be able to pull it off if we've got all our stuff together early enough. and as a bonus, there is a chance my cousin might come along with his diesel conversion 62 (12HT i think). he'll be in phoenix sometime this week, then down here at some point.
if i can make it work, i'll be aiming to camp friday night.

Nice! The more the merrier!

I'll be in for this one if I can get the in-laws to watch the little one. See how much easier it is with the new lift and tires.

im gonna try too! i guess it depends on if i can get to the meet and get my app turned in, then talking the wifey into taking baby duties for the weekend.

My guess,,, you will notice a difference. Not only from the lift/tires, but you have more seat time.:hillbilly:

Your still welcome if you don't get you app turned in...this is a family friendly trail, quite a few of us will have little ones with us to camp & wheel...

bringing the fam is also an option! i will run it by her. i just ordered a bunch of stuff from dan, should be here quick, and will have to make time to get it done before then too! thanks for the warm invite.

For those that have never been, it's a cool trail in the pines, plenty of good camping in the area. The trail is a "pick your poison" trail, relatively wide, so in most places there are easier lines and more challenging, good fun for everyone.

It's challenging for a stock rig, but many have run it clean. The key is careful spotting and driving, if history is any indicator there will be plenty of good spotters there.

Some pix of previous runs, search will net more. Keep in mind, many of the pix are of optional lines, more challenging than necessary.

Kevin, those are great links. Theyre making me glance over at the calendar to see how close the date is!

Never been there, how are the harder lines? :)

As hard as you want. The 'Filter' will challenge anything short of a buggy, and there are several shelves 4-5' high that usually require a winch.

Thinking of trailering the "Army buggy" up there? You could go for the waterfall at the end for a stiff challenge!

I have heard that there is an area past there that is even more challenging, have never been back there, so :meh:?

Ya, thinking about it.. How far away? Im way over west vally, Dysart Tbird.. Looks like fun :)

Thanks, sounds like a camping trip.. I will try to shoot for it..
Is there people meeting up for the drive up there?

Yes, will be hashed at the meet tomorrow and posted ASAP.

Got a little more motivation to make it happen today. Gonna have to find something to break these in on.

n i c e ! :grinpimp:
Who manufactures those? Are they welded or do they utilize a u-bolt set up?

Payette will be a good place to break them in
