Time to sell it and buy a "new" one, eh Wayne? :D

Congrats. If you had a 1HZ it would be time to change the T-belt :)

Hey Congrats
I'm sure your Cruiser is happy to get driven more than once a month! I'm sure it's enjoying open roads too...not continuous stop and go. ;) Paul

Damn, how do you put in those 'flip-off' icons?

Thanks, guys. I'm sure the BJ74 is happy being able to run daily...in fact, I've put in over 30,000 kms in slightly less than a year! Runs great, barely any blow-by, not much smoke...everything's tight. The previous owner in Japan might not have driven her much, but it sure looked like he took care of her. When I first drained the fluids they were clean and the diffs even had what appeared to be synthetic. When I serviced by Birfield the wheel bearings also looked like they were packed in synthetic, and were done recently. There was only one thing wrong that could have resulted in disaster: a rear pinion nut that had come loose because it wasn't staked.

Mileage figures so far have been around 12.4L/100 kms mixed city/hwy driving. Cheers.

After that whole LHD-RHD thread Tom I knew I'd get you with that one, LOL. :D I believe 12.4L/100 kms is roughly 23 MPG to you Yanks. :) I haven't done any trips long enough to use up a whole tank of fuel recently, so I don't have any recent highway figures to give you. Cheers.

Hey Stoney, I'm sorry we didnt get to meet the other day when I was up there at Shells place. I promise to give proper notification when Im coming back with the 60 though.

TB
