What do you do if you lose a tire in sand which is so soft and deep that an airbag can’t raise the truck high enough to repair the tire or replace with a spare, and you don’t have a jack.

Answer: simple, put the bag on a spare tire, it worked, took about one hour to figure this out but it worked.

Check it out.

That must be a pretty big sandwich.......;p

Remove damaged tire/wheel, deflate bag, switch out the spare and reinflate, clean up hub/rotor/ install spare

well the spare used in the "sandwich" was from another car. however, we did not replace with a spare, we fixed the original tire, it was impossible to inflate it while the car was low as air kept escaping.

a can of starter fluid, a match, and a redneck to yell out " hey y'all, hold my beer and watch this "

or....

you could do it your way :grinpimp:

BK's method is more fun to watch and faster.

bk, i'd be happy to take a picture and hold your beer can, from a distance. ill leave the match and starter fluid to you.

thanks for the tip anyway, think i'll stick with the sandwich approach, you will be happy to know that the combustion style repair was suggested and ignored.
