2017 4Runner SR5. 1GR-FE. 136K miles.
Pretty sure the alternator is bad. Battery with car off... 11-something... with car running it's 12.36V. Rev the engine, 12.4V is the max it gets. My understanding is that the alternator should be showing 13 to 14-ish volts if good. Am I wrong on that?
Real question... while I'm in there with the alternator what else do I replace or at least consider?
Serpentine Belt
Tensioner
Fan Clutch?
Water Pump?
I've not had to do much with this truck other than brakes and fluids. All my other Yotas are over 25 years old.
