Alternator queston

I have a 1986 fj60 with 2hdiesel 24volt charging system Ive been looking for A alternator for it online but all Ifound was 12volt ones for it I thought all diesels were 24volt I like to find were to buy one thanks ken from massachcetts

I don't know much about diesels but are you positive it's 24V? Might post this up in the diesel section for a quicker answer.

I'd look for a starter/alternator repair shop in your area to fix the one you have.... the only other choice would be SOR and I'd bet they'll be pricey being the vac pump drives off the rear of it.......
