I have ordered a complete bib grill assemble and do not have the hinge pad anymore. I have found a replacement at SOR but shipping is to expensive compared to the price for the pad.

Is a rubber gasket material a good replacement material? Or would another material be acceptable?

I would just make it from a piece of conveyor belt or a thick section of inner tube from a bike or truck tire. As far as that goes cut a piece of tennis shoe bottom.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I found one made out of a polymer on eBay that is 5mm thick. I thought it may be to thick but seeing the suggestions it may not be.
