Another vote for the ARB! You’ll love it.

I have a used OEM you can have. I live just North of Boston. Its from a 98 and is not perfect. It has the fog lights.

Thanks jim for the measurements on the foglights...that really is sealing it now. What i was thinking of doing was putting a 90mm projector housing in that location.

Ive already taken into acount the about 4-5 inchs longer the front bumper will be, since I asked Jim to measure it a while back.

But it is a TLC though no?

Now that's a mod; sticking projectors in the ARB. Too bad we don't live in the same city, I'd like to hook up w/ someone for a weekender on that project.

ARB works for me.

Only way to go is ARB. I smoked a deer the other day with Zero damage.

Its been about two years since I got the Sahara Bar and I still look at it and
get a tear in my eye...

this is probable a little late but consider this. I have redone both bumpers twice. Absolute bs. They have rubs on them again from someone that can't drive. So I am going to get them both done with heavy metal as soon I as i get a new one for the MRS. if you keep the plastic you will repaint it. When you go metal remember you won't be able to just scrape by the pole. it will be metal on metal and I have a feeling the pole(or anything like it) is there for a reason. Just be aware you may not be able to get out without causing some stupid damge. On the other side, when the next A#!hole hits your ARB bumper then they will be the sorry ones. Just know it is likely to happen so you will have to repaint it still. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Might as well ruin thier day to.

this is good conversation as I'm thinking about going with a new front bumper. Can't decide between the Sahara and the regular ARB...

well yesterday i saw a lady in a honda accord (Her eyes looked squinty but that might have just been from the early morning sun). Anyways, she hit a ford econoline van in stop and go traffic on a parkway. Her hood buckled and grille pushed in, while the ford just had a little white scuff mark on that.

Since i have recently moved and traffic that highway now every day which always has stop and go traffic, i think i might be going for a Steel rear bumper, which i never even thought about doing in the first place.

Has anyone with steel in the back ever had the enjoyment of an unattentive driver bumping them in the rear? Did the powdercoat even get messed up? :)

Ironically, I got hit on the West Side Highway by an Accord years ago in my old '93 Xtracab. Rainy, traffic. I stopped, then heard the skid, then bam. Their hood buckled, broke their headlights and popped the radiator. I had a small scuff.

I have not been hit in the rear in the 100 yet, but I think the TJM will hold up just fine.
