Please advise on your experience with achieveing facorty alignment specifications after lifting your 100, and possible measures to resolve what I describe here.
After installing a complete OME suspension on my 99 100 Series, my local alignment shop informed me that it will not align to all factory specs. My understanding is that it would align to factory specs.
I installed the suspension this week and drove the truck around a bit to settle the suspension and make some final torsion bar adjustments prior to bringing it to the shop. My OME torsion bars are adjusted to the Slee recommended 60 MM of droop travel, and I have OME 860 springs in the rear.
The shop adjusted the camber and toe within spec, but informed that the caster could not be adjusted to within spec.
Here are the factory specs and my current settings.
factory spec min/max
caster 1.8 / 3.3
camber -0.7 / 0.8
toe 1/32 / 1/16
my results after alignment (right / left)
caster 0.5 / 0.8
camber 0.1 / 0.2
toe 1/32 / 1/32
