Wanted to cross this stream but it was running a bit fast and had some decent size boulders in it and at the deepest it came to my knees. If we had another vehicle I would have crossed.
Maybe next year when Nick is here

On to Hatcher Pass and what we can find there. Entered on the Willow side. Getting to tree line we found a trail into a dead end valley, also old mining road.

This trail was basically a rock garden
about 2.5mi in we found a good camping spot

The previous night we noticed a excavator on top of the mountain across from us

Then on to Hatcher Pass and home. Now we need some dry weather so I can dry the tent. The awning will dry in the garage just fine.

The only damage I could find, aside from new rattles, was the two washers used to mount the lower shocks in the rear got bent back, one 90 degree’s. And today I lost one of the plastic end caps for the bumper, but I think I ordered two when I ordered replacement.

Great photos and looks like your camping set up is working out great.
I'll be up that way towards the end of September for a month long work project, and hoping to spend a few days in the Anchorage area when the project ends. I really would like to drive up that way one day.
