Interesting.

So.......since they were sold here in the U.S. domestically through dealers, do one of you guys have the Toyota part number for these modern-looking coarse-splined Aisins that are posted in the first photos?

Or do they use a Toyota do Brasil part number that might be accessed in South America?

And will they work all the way back to 1964 and up to 7/1980?

Thx.

NOS means New Old Stock. Mean they are new never installed but been on a shelf somewhere. I just got done rebuilding my AISIN hubs. The difference I see is in your the posts are missing and the Housing looks to be two pieces Mine are one piece. I have the fine spline so not sure. You need to talk to Kevin Desert Tool. he will know.

My definition includes some reference to an OE part number to be considered "NOS".

I appreciate NOS like fine art.

Whether NOS or current Brazilian production, just looking for a part number, that's all.

Good luck.

CDan can't generate one, so not sure who else may be able to.

Have tried to inquire to similar on a South American page, but failed miserably.

"verga.... puro americanos aqui en la paginaaaaaaaaaaa"

Bahahaha.

Thanks, Google Translate.

After consulting with the advisory committee and receiving Jim C.s blessings on the old school ASCO for the Pig resto, going to punt on these.

It's the first step in addressing my addiction and effort to minimize my inventory of NOS parts that I won't be using.

Stupider question.

Realizing that some parts are "rare" for a reason, would it be dumb to gut older Asco fine spline, transplant into these bodies, and run on the 76 Pig.

For S&Gs mostly, since these are pretty and the others ain't.

Sending this up once more, an effort to determine if there was ever any application that utilized a coarse spline, long bodied lock out, before gutting these and swapping over fine spline.

Any takers on what these may be for?

what about the blizzard? how many splines on their birfs?

Aka Daihatsu Scat.

It resulted on one of the many queries regarding these, info being on a UK website.

Trying to confirm, but the Blizzard were early front disc (long bodied) and, according to the UK Daihatsu site, "bloody bastard splined!!"

Have found one of a few (they claim there are ten LD10s in the US?) owners, whose a member here, I believe, so about to ask, since I can't find a spline count online and can't read Japanese.
