Hello, I have a 05 4Runner, it's my wife's truck and she hates the leather seats. Original seats have the airbags in the side. Found a set of 4th gen cloth seats, still the sport seats like the originals but the wiring connections on the bottom are mostly wrong, and the airbag passenger OFF light is showing when someone sits in the seat. Also the main airbag warning light is on in the dash display, too.
So 2 questions: Will the other airbags (driver, driver seat, etc) still work?
I've read a few places online where it looked as if the wiring could be moved to the replacement seats. Also the passenger seatbelt attached to the seat has to be moved over, too.
The guy I bought the seats from said they were from an 03 he thinks. He parts out lots of 4Runners.
Anyone done this? Any ideas? Thanks.
