Alright so, like many LandCruisers my 62's heat doesnt work all that well, or at all sometimes. But thats not my question today. My problem has happened twice now, no air movement what so ever hot or cold. Was working fine on the way to the gym today, get back into my truck....doesnt work :bang:
Opinion?
Thanks

-Carl

oh oh oh ...pick me!

under the glove box should be a large cylinder that appears to be attached to a bunch of plastic. this is your blower motor. whack on it with something sturdy, and your air should start blowing.

if it works, look for another one. beating on it only works so long,,,

Contacts on the blower motor have worn out.

I like Kevin's remedy :hillbilly:. Odd thing is it will sometimes start working again....

It works on my Yukon, I've been meaning to replace it, but I keep my ice scraper handy, and when it's not working, I just lean over and wack it, and it kicks right on, but as stated, I'm sure that only works for so long. That being said, the heat in my cruiser has always worked well

You got that right!

I beat on mine for about 3 months before it gave up the ghost.

About $20-30.00 fixes the problem and a cave man can install it:lol:

Thats my kind of repair :hillbilly:
