Air flow meter question.

ok i am getting another code 24 on my 62(missing on acceleration mostly at higher speeds) and i was looking up cost of parts and found that parts America is calling (maybe?????) the Intake air temp. sensor A air cleaner temp. sensor?????? are they listing these the same??? cause i thought to replace that sensor you needed to replace the whole air flow meter?

Those parts are dimmed in the link you posted. Are they actually available? I wonder if they are catalog lists of what might be needed for your rig..


The AFM (is the 3fe Speed density or maf?? I seem to recall MAF) is independant of any Air temp sensor or air cleaner sensor. I have a air temp sensor but not a Air cleaner sensor on my 60.

I went back through and checked the parts are aviliable but the one part that i was questioning turns out was the coolant sensor.....listing mistake i suppose.

Ya the airflow is like 200 bucks plus my discount.

As i understand the airflow meter has 2 sensors inside. They was listing 2 separate parts which is what threw me until a few minutes ago.

I would need to go look to see which one does what. I do know one is just a resister.
