It's annoying, but this pic still makes me laugh a little

Pulled into a gas station and immediately noticed something wrong. The back was so far up there that it far exceeds "high" mode on AHC. The front clearance is consistent with "neutral", but the indicator on the instrument cluster reads "low".

When I tried to switch to "neutral", the N would blink twice and give up, ultimately staying in "low". I drove it home and the back end ride was hideous - There was essentially no suspension/damping at all. While driving home (just a couple miles) the rear end levelled out at what looked and felt like regular "high", now it's back in the driveway and after turning it off and on the dash reads N and while the front does appear to be at that height, the back is still "high". I sent it to "low" mode and both front and back dropped but only by one level each, so front was low and back was N.

All of the sensors have shot ball joints but otherwise look ok - I pulled off the connectors and don't see any signs of corrosion. Any ideas? Should I just get a new rear sensor?

Thanks!

Other things to note:

- AHC seems to be a little confused sometimes but never to this extent (ie I notice it levelling things around while at a stoplight sometimes)
- Drove through some very heavy rain yesterday for the first time since owning the vehicle...
- AHC fluid is perfect, globes are good (12+ gradations between H and L)

I would start by checking if your height sensors are functioning properly. This pose can mean the rear height sensor is faulty.

You were right on here. I still need to check the rear sensor but I jacked up the front just now and pulled off both of the link/arms that attach between the sensors and the UCAs. On the right side, the sensor "nub" that goes through the lever (the nub that is a square shape on one side and an arc shape on the other) was spun 90 degrees.. Spun it back to true and everything seems to work again 🤷‍♂️
