Finally got the car back

No flashing lights, however it does take a long time to go from L to H
How long should it take?

Also I went over a speed bump and the back felt like it bottomed out with 2 people in back and not much speed

It did this before getting shocks replaced too
Do I need new rear springs

Up to 15 secs to raise. Did the mechanics note your front and rear neutral pressures? If they can read the C17xx codes they've got the gear I believe. I bet your pressures are high, here's the basic check out fsm doc.

I found a guy who has done a few ahc systems before and I'm going to see him next week

However, the car feels like the backend is shot
When going over a speed bump there is virtually no travel before it feels like it bottoms out
I've read about spheres and actuators, could one of these being finished cause this issue?

I think paddo referenced this earlier, but the shocks probably weren't your original problem, more likely the accumulators/spheres (1 or more) attached to the shocks are no longer functioning. Hopefully the new shop that is more familiar with ahc will sort it out properly.

Thanks all

I just picked up the car from the 2nd shop

I'm no longer getting the bouncy backend, and when i go over a speed bump it doesn't bottom out easily any more....seems much better

They swapped out to 2nd hand (new was WAY too much)
They replaced the accumulators and something else on the backend
Thanks for all your help

quick question, are the accumulators/spheres the same thing?

Yes, same thing. You can see them attached to the outside of the frame just ahead of the rear wheel and behind the front wheel. they look like lawn bowling balls attached to heat sinks.
