I know this question will cause some members to cringe but I would like to lower the rear of my LX570 approx 1" to eliminate the Stink Bug stance that the factory gave it! I can honestly say that this LX will never drive on anything more challenging than fire roads so lowering the rear 1" isn't going to hurt anything.

Maybe I am overthinking this - can I just move the rear hight sensor slightly to lower the ride height and leave everything else as-is?

Yup!

A better idea is to get bigger tires which, among other things, will fill the fenders better. I know that costs money.

Did you move/adjust the height sensors on yours to lift it when fitting the 305/55R20 tires? Any tips for what procedure to follow to lower the rear 1" or less?

<OT> One of yours posts listed 'LC roof rack'. What is the difference?

Lookup this thread for the sensors you'll want to adjust. Slide it the opposite way of what everyone else is doing. LX570 AHC height modifications (lift it!)

Note that you'll want to keep the adjustment conservative. If you lower it too much, the AHC system won't have enough hydraulic pressure to work its magic, as all the load will be on the coil springs. The ride may be bouncy without any damping.

You'll prob want to mark the factory position in case you want to set it back.

In regards to the LC rack. It's longer than the LX570 rack. Note the 3 legs to the roof, vs 2 on the LX rack.
