With just 3-4 graduations, no damping and low fluid is safe to say your globes are gone and full of the missing fluid. With new globes, a proper fluid exchange to get rid of the old gassy contaminated stuff and setting your neutral pressures up you’ll have a new ride. You can combine the fluid changeout with your new globe installation to kill two birds with one stone, nice and easy.

From what I’ve gathered so far, looks like I should drop the truck to Lo then siphone out whatever fluid is left in the res and dump a whole 2.5qts can of ahc fluid into the res and then open the bleeder on all 4 corners. Then just unscrew the globes and put in new ones? I do not know how to set neutral pressure and I do not have techstream at the moment. I’ll have to check and see if my $4000 matco scanner at work has ahc stuff on it.

Yes, it’s that simple. AHC fluid comes in litre bottles now so get three. You’ll want to bleed the height accumulator too as it holds about 400cc of fluid and it dumps into both the front and rear hydraulic circuits so it makes zero sense to not refresh the fluid it retains when you do the rest of the system. I’d expect the matco will connect to the AHC ECU. Front neutral pressures are corrected (lowered) by tightening the torsion bar bolts and the rear pressure is bought back to design by adding 30mm spacers for ~ 0.5MPa drop and/or new AHC coils for ~0.2MPa drop. Best approach is to set the front pressure to 6.9MPa (or a fraction lower) and see what the net affect on the rear pressure is and go from there. If you’ve got an M7x1 brake bleeder pressure gauge adapter and a gauge that reads greater than 1000psi (1500psi Range would be better/safer) then you can use that for your neutral pressures, noting that the front static pressure could well be ~1000psi or so.

Nah i got tired of this thing and ended up putting pedders suspension. Shouldve done that in the first place hehe. Sold the bits off on ebay.
BTW How is the ride on this Pedders set?

Absolutely fantastic. The ride isn't as soft or floaty but feels a lot stronger. And the peace of mind is the best. Slightly stiffer ride but very comfortable still. Love it to bits now.

I tested the pump everything moving OK. Can someone possibly upload a vid of pump running so I can see at what pressure the fluid is supposed to cone out of outlet. I also bled the attenuator that seemed to have air bubbles in it. Should I bleed the control valve? I just cant get the bloody thing up.

Attached pump motor pics when was cleaning it out
