Hi All - new-ish owner of a 2007 LX470 (won on Cars and Bids - linked here: 2007 Lexus LX 470 - Rare SE Limited Edition, V8 Power, 4WD, Locking Center Differential, Southern-Owned - https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3RjPgzY1/2007-lexus-lx-470

I am having a problem after attempting an AHC lift on my rig. Before attempting, i've installed 30mm spacers in the rear, Japan4x4 shock spacers all around, and purchased new height control sensor links (the part with the double threads, lock nuts, etc.) For front right and front left since I broke one attempting to shorten/adjust for my AHC lift.

I finally got around to adjusting the new front 2 links, installing them on the vehicle, and slid up the rear sensor in its existing bracket. Turned the car on to go around the block before getting my Techstream out, and the AHC would not adjust up or down, and it began blinking "off"

Hooked up Techstream and got the following code: C1712, suggesting something is now wrong with the Front Left sensor.

Everything was working great before, pressures all normal before attempting the lift, gradations great, very healthy system. Any idea what I could have done / how to fix? Thanks for your help

That code means the sensor or its circuit are bad.

When you replaced the link, perhaps you killed the sensor. If it were me, I'd just buy a brand new OEM Toyota/Lexus sensor (absolutely not anything aftermarket from anyone aside from a genuine parts dealer, no Denso) and go from there. Those sensors are wear items.

Obligatory note: Stock AHC is 2" of lift on demand. AHC lift with or without those shock spacers are going to mess with your comfy ride all for the sake of a lift height that's more extreme than a typical "Lifted 100 Land Cruiser". If the ride just won't seem to settle down, take those spacers off and throw on some armor instead of a lift.
