I searched. Couldn't find much useful info, or found outdated info.

1995. Full exhaust with header.
I don't have to worry about emissions.

I'm getting a P420 code. "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold"

I'm assuming this is monitoring how the cat is doing.
I'm not planning on replacing the cat.
Looking for a work around. I'd pull the sensor, put a plug in the bung, clip the wires, and use the connector to wire in a resistor.
I can't imagine somebody hasn't came up with what resistor is needed to make the ecu happy.

probably add a spacer to the 2nd O2 to pull it out of the exhaust stream some? might need to fab something for the O2 on the LC to make that work, but that was a trick I did on my Evo 8 when I went catless. Those were screw in type O2 sensors and I used a spark plug anti-fouler to move it mostly out of the exhaust stream.

Get yourself one of these and you should be fine. You will have to drill out the bottom to allow the O2 sensor to seat fully.

I ran one of these in my 03 WRX and had no issues with a check engine light, I also was not running a cat.
