Hello everyone,

About a week ago, I installed a new facelift (2018-2023) on my 2011 Toyota Prado VX. Since then, the AFS OFF light on the dashboard has been blinking.

I checked the instrument panel settings and found the AFS option, which displays two choices: ON and OFF. Normally, I should be able to select one of them, but when I press ENTER on the steering wheel, nothing happens—neither option gets selected. The two radio buttons remain unresponsive.

Interestingly, I can see the AFS title on the screen change its state with each ENTER press, but it doesn’t allow me to actually toggle between ON or OFF.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? Any suggestions on how to resolve it?

I was considering buying a scanner tool (a dongle) to configure, reset, or calibrate the AFS module in my car. I reached out to Carista’s support team to check if their dongle supports this function, but they confirmed it does not work for my vehicle’s AFS system.

Has anyone had success with another scanner tool for this issue? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

This is how it looks with the facelift
