Carb fan isn't a big deal. Figure out what else the truck needs to be safely roadworthy - brakes, exhaust work, front axle rebuild, etc. If everything is good to go, $3500 is a good price. And yes, check for frame rust.

"Land Cruisers take a lot of fluids" this is a quote from the person I purchased my 1st crusier from. It kinda funny but true too. Your Toyota will love you for a long time as long as you keep up on the maitinence. The little stuff makes a big difference.

Offer low, my land cruiser was originally listed at 3200, and i got it for 1500, ALWAYS check for rust. Drive it, park it and see where the oil leak is. (there usually is at least one). And just remember to budget for needed repairs due to PO neglect. oh, one last piece of advice.....Buy it. Cruisers are the best.

It all depends on you. Is the truck worth it to you? Do you like it and do you have the funds to do the required stuff to get it the way you want?

Think about it.
