Advice please... AUS brisbane engine swap

Greetings Fellas,
Is it advisable to drop a new engine in an old 100 series, i just want piece of mind that i have a reliable wagon. Any recommendations for mechanics in the South Brisbane area?

being as you are in OZ, what engine are you talking about?
almost all engines Toyota put into Landcruisers are made to go a long time with simple maintenance

as long as it has had regular oil changes and doesnt have 400K miles on it, the engine is probably still good
