My neighbor has a very nice '94 2nd Gen 4Runner that he is selling based on a move/relocation and since it is their 3rd vehicle. Here is what I know:

SR5 4x4
Dark green exterior with fading on roof and hood, otherwise in great shape including original gray graphics
Gray cloth interior almost perfect
5-Speed Stick
4.30 or 4.56 original diff gears? (big tire package? 31x10.50s)
Sunroof
3.0 V6 with ~150K Head gasket recall done
Well maintained
Rear hatch electric window track broken. Parts hatch included.

What is it worth? What should I/buyer expect/watch out for? How much lift is needed to fit 33x10.50s to bring highway RPMs down and fuel mileage up?

Thanks for the advice!

If it came from the factory with 31s, it probably has 4.56 gears. Nothing much you can do to improve gas mileage or power on the 3.slow motor. 33s will reduce both mileage and power.

Had a 90 model for 10 years and 115k other than the headgaskets, had very few issues. Sunroof cables broke at around 90k and also had some issues with the wiring in the steering column.

KBB shows a trade-in value of $1,875 for one average condition. With the current gas prices, I don't think it would be an easy sell.
