Took a 21.38 mile hike on Saturday from down town San Diego over Cabrillo National Monument. The 2nd largest veterans cemetery in the country is located here as well as scenic views of the city and the Pacific Ocean. I came across a Medal of Honor recipient's grave. I added a link to the citation. I was honored to be in the presence of so many American heroes.

I had to run half of that one night after many alcoholic beverages. From downtown to the Hilton. I believe it is around 8 to 12 mile mark along the route you posted. Then quickly showered packed up and shuttled to the airport to make my international flight.

haha I just got a visual of that. The only hard part was the climb up the pavement on the hill. That was like a 45 degree incline. Really proud of myself for making it. I forgot to change my socks and earned some blisters @SFROMAN I'm a horrible Marine lol
 
@custyota Is this all one big trip or is this a 2nd trip or are you staying out there for work for a while? Looks like a lot of fun . .sounds like there may be some work involved, too :)
