New front brake pads
2 year old Radiator
PHH done a year ago along with new HH and EGR down tube
EGR less than a year old, ECU replaced with good ECU.
Harness wrapped with Thermashield new EGR section.
A/C Blows cold. Heater works. Sunroof works and doesnt leak.

Known problems or concerns ***SELLING AS IS*** (do not have time to fix or correct):

There's a engine oil leak. If you drive the truck every day you will never see it drip on the ground.
If you leave the vehicle for weeks on end, you will see some oil. Haven't had time to diagnose yet.

The head gasket has not been done on it yet. Original head gasket.

It needs an alignment. It pulls to the left.

The passenger seat doesn't move but its all the way back and works good there so we never fixed it.

Drivers door won't unlock with the keyless system. May be just gummed up, just always used the key
so dont know whats wrong.

Pulling code 28 right now for 02 sensor. Just passed smog a bit over a month ago.

One of the locker lights blink, but the locker engages fine. The sensor is probably dirty.

Things not included:
Recovery Gear (like straps, chains, gloves, d-shackles)
Tools
Camping Gear
Yosh
Dixie

.. need them for the next rig!

No Bartering , Trading or Lowballing. This truck is priced to sell. Using money from cruiser to put towards new rig - have more than $15k into this rig as it is. Will not part out. Serious inquiries only please.

Strongly Disagree with your reason for selling, BUT....

This is ONE HELLUVA NICE TRUCK FOR $15k!!!!!

OK, I'm dumb. What's an SMB?

SMB=Sportsmobile. Think offroad van with pop-top tent.

wow... that's just sick. this is maybe my favorite 80, and i coulda had it for what i've put into mine already (without even coming close to the mod list)... i automatically hate whoever buys this.

That is one sweet ass 80! Good luck on the sale! The Sportsmobiles are way cool. I saw one at a local RV show last fall.

It's funny....no matter how many times people say this or mention it, they always end up buying a stock one for cheap. They then proceed spending twice that building up a rig that still isn't close to the built one they could have bought. Not saying you did this, but you see it a lot in the for sale section.

maybe it's the fun of the build or something...I dunno :D

bump for a nice truck.

Thanks for the kind words guys. If i could afford to keep both i would.

Possible sale being worked on with a CO member. If you want the 80 act fast or else it could be gone by the end of the day!

Coleman dual burner stove used 3 times (bought 1 year ago) now added to the sale at no additional charge.

oh man, that did it for me - i'll paypal you tonite...!

seriously, sorry to see you part with the 80, you guys have a great list of adventures with that rig and whoever gets it inherits some great history along with a solid truck. It will be hard for the next owner to match your legacy of trips!

A SMB is the only rig we talk about replacing our 80 with, they are really sweet rides for live-out-of-the-truck expeditions. but you allready know that!

Good luck and maybe we'll follow your adventures on Expo.
