I was thinking about adding some fog and driving lights to my fj60. It has a stock toyo 55amp (?) alternator. Two 150 watt lights / 12 volts = 25 ampsIts always dangerous when I do math. Is this an accurate reflection of the load? Since darn volt meter bounces now how will this load affect my system? Will the stock alt handle it or will the battery be drained down? Advice? opinions?

The math looks right. You have any extra electrical accessories?

Nope, just the standard factory stuff. Does have AC and radio but no fridge or other stuff. Has winch but wouldn't use that at same time plus I want to put second battery in for it anyway, PO just had single one. Thats down the road apiece.
All belt driven stuff is factory toyo. PO wanted to keep it toyo and since mtr was crate instead of out of a yard, I guess that's ok. Another future job is stripping off the front of a yard motor to get a single serpintine belt system. That's a real phur piece down the road.
