Wile E Coyote
Out in the streets, they call it murder!
Hi folks, just received a really comfortable, adjustable, and light Miller MP-10 passive helmet as a gift. First off, boy is it way better than the cheap AD helmet from Northern Tool I've had for 5 years or so. My view of the puddle and immediate surrounding area is significantly better at the fixed shade 10 than the AD's lowest shade 9. I do plan on cutting up an old welding bib and attaching it to the top of the helmet with snaps to hang down over my head, cutting out some of the glare on the inner lens.
Anyway, I posted to ask if anyone has found cheaper alternatives to the $$ Miller Elite or Elite Digital AD lens inserts that would fit this helmet. I can do ok with a flip down, but tacking or welding under a vehicle sure makes the AD lens shine.
