Actually quiet muffler recommendation

My tranny is about to fall out, so I've been trying to get that together. That and I don't really want to put the effort or money into the 3.slo.

Just thinking out loud, considering your request to find a really quiet solution...did you think about going to a local scr*p yard to pull the whole exhaust system off a recent V8 4runner that might have rolled over or from a scr*pped Highlander or something? This way you can cut and match the pipes, and it should give you a really quiet solution.
 
While I'm mucking with it, I'm going to tuck it up really nice above the frame rails. The stock muffler shape/location was inappropriate, though it was quiet enough. Adapting an existing system would be more difficult than making one, and anyone who's been unlucky enough to get to mess with a half rotted exhaust system isn't eager to get cutting and welding in there.
 
My muffler now sounds like Bill The Cat every time I accelerate, time to slap a new muffler under there. "Thbbft!"
