ACL rod bearings after 150k kms.

I usually avoid doing anything other than lurking on most forums, but Sheldon suggested that I post up a pic of what the ACL bearings I pulled out of my truck looked like after 150k since a lot of people feel that once you've changed the oem ones out you're safe.

According to the previous owners it was synthetic oil every 5k

With just a picture as reference it appears that there was a piece of dirt on the back of the shell.
The rest looks like bearing fatigue.

So ACL bearings are not the best ones to use?

I always thought clevite or king bearings were better.

It just looks like 150k service life between BEB jobs. Not the end of the world....
