Accumulator and Master Cylinder on back order (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I heard grinding at start up with ABS lights on in my wife's 100. Took it to the dealer and they said OEM accumulator and master cylinder is on back order. Does anyone know how long it takes to get one if it's on back order?

The dealer said they could go aftermarket, but I really don't trust aftermarket considering OEM had no issues for the first 20 years until now.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Master cylinder is readily available. Put your VIN into partsouq to verify the correct part number then type into google. There is one for no Atrac and one for with, changed mid 2000. Lots of US dealers have it in stock online.
