Master Cylinder rebuild kit legit on 2000 LC?

Hi Guys,
Will this really fix the most common reason that master cylinder assembly goes out on a 100 series? The alternative is the super expensive "complete assembly", correct?

Yes, I replaced just the booster on mine.
