Darn, a high speed car wash door damaged both my black roof rack front covers, and possibly warped the roof effecting sun roof aliment & seals. While pulling out of the car wash last night the door came down hitting my roof rack covers. I got out and walked around my truck in the dark and didn’t look like any big deal. This morning I notice the sun roof seal is no longer flush all the way around. The sun roof appears high at front & aft center area and low in corners. This is hard to get a picture of, but did manage to get one where water mark of front DS corner is exposed. As I recall it was flush and water mark would indicated the same, but I may be mistaken.

Was my recollection correct should the sun roof be flush all the way around with the roof line?

It appears water line has change and gap can be seen.

FWIW, Both rear corners on my sunroof are a little low. The front and center are flush. Reminded me to replace the old gasket soon.

Well that makes yours different then my front corners are now. Which water marks are supporting the assumption lines have changed. The hit must have been more than I thought at the time. I need to take a closer look at pillars, windshield, door jam and such. I'd assume the roof line/sunroof is flush from factory. Are these roof line that easy to warp.

Any know of a test I can preform, like measurement from some point on pillar to pillar?

My guess is that the plastic roof corners absorbed the impact. Are there any creases in the roof around the rack corners?

I'm thinking your right. No crease or anything else I could see in day light. Cut short my inspection due to weather coming in.

Found as I open and closed sunroof (slide) it line up better then tilt up & down. Possibility there is and adjust so that I can raise corner just a bit. You would happen to know if they are adjustable?

Guessing the roof channel would be one the stronger areas of the roof. Don't know about the adjustments.
When I replace the seal I'll look into it.

Make sense channels would be strongest. I'll need to locate & install some black front covers for my roof racks. Adjust sun roof and call it a day.

Thanks Keowee.
