While I really don't care if it's notched at all, you do already have other similar sized products that are more "universal". Just food for thought.

So after sleeping on it I've decided to go with the notched version. These are all hand made by one person so its irrelevant if it has a notch or not. I can produce any size at any time. So I'm going with notched so that it looks purpose built.

Super down with that, I think it will be nice to have it purpose built. It will look great too! So one thing that I'm still confused about is the liner. I was under the impression that other than the cup holders, the top part was the same between all years 100 series. Is that not the case? In the pictures it looks like the liner you made would be fine on an early 100. Seems like for that you could just use HxW measurements no?

Yeah I think so too.

Are you talking about the lid or the tray?

Well those get me close but there is a vertical radius and a horizontal radius to consider so it means doing fine-tuning on the trimming to make sure its not sloppy loose or require further trimming when you actually get it. Trying to make things as plug-n-play as possible ;)

Sounds great! I can't wait to see the finished product. Would you like me to measure the bottom of my top tray? I'm not sure if that will help you or not.

Yeah not unless it was the exact same tray as the later model (2003+). Otherwise I would need to do it. Even if you were to use card stock to cut to shape, the height of the stiffened felt acts differently in the radius than it does with card stock. Its ok, I'll find a truck.

I was talking about the liner for the tray.

....you just blew my mind. I'll leave the rest to the professionals, and watch and learn :)

I have a feeling it is the exact same tray. I figured a quick measurement should tell you if it was or not. Doesn't matter to me either way, just thought I would offer!

Yeah if the rough measurements are the same then they are the same. Do it up!

Lol I guess Creeper and I were asking the same thing, I also have a feeling they're the same, just the top lid has the cup holders on the later years.

Just to make my life easier. Couple of items still need to be verified but here is what I know...

and...... take my dang money...

He finally sent me over a pic. Realize this is first article proto so I have not gone over any details/nits with him yet. The entire bottom row of elastic will come up about 4mm and the top left bulge will likely go flat. Anyway, thoughts? Will your crap fit in here? Missing a loop for somethign larger? Remember, there is still the compartment in the back as well.

Looks good to me!

No changes? Can you guys visualize all of the components that are going to be fitted? If there is a loop that maybe could use a larger size for something now is the time. I'm about to turn these on and make them available on the site for pre-order.
