Hi 200 people,

I am interested to know what people do when they drop stuff under their front seats.

1) With the well documented storage issues, I feel like I am always dropping cards and phones in between the seats and center console.

2) There is a flap of carpet under the seats that then eats all cards and items that have fallen down there. How do you reasonably access this? Does the fascia on the front of the seats come off easily?

Thanks!

Hahah. Great thread. I bought mine a few months ago and too the seat out to clean the carpet. The previous owner left me a drivers license. A 20$ gift card to Starbucks and $200 gift card to Dicks sporting goods. The 200 was traded then taken to a auction. So it passed hands 3 times before I had it.

I saw those on Shark Tank when that episode aired and forgot about them. I may have to get a pair for my 200, black interior so it will match well.

Well I have them and they work really well.

+1 I have the same ones and they work well except if your drop coins.

I just filled the gaps between the carpet and the console underneath the seat with some Fatmat I had leftover from another project. Anything that falls in between the seat and the console can now be retrieved because it doesn't go into the "black holes" under the carpet. Both the drivers side and passenger side. That also allows for frequently moving the seats for different drivers.

The coolest thing I found on my 2002 LS 400 sedan was a stitched leather piece covering the slot. Nothing falls through... ;-)
