To our Customers, Vendors, Family and Friends,

So it has been 2 years since ACC opened our doors, and yes we are still here and expanding everyday. So to say thanks to all of of Customers and Vendors we are having a second annual ACC Anniversary Party to say simply, THANKS for making this possible.
The festivities will be at our shop (link to directions below) and we will have BBQ and all the associated fixins to go along w/ it. We will also have drinks, alcoholic and non. We plan to start the festivities around 11:00 AM on Saturday April 24th and we will be around till it is time to go home.

Please RSVP if possible so that we can get a rough head count for food and drinks. Also bring your trucks so we can all check out each others rides.

I think the plan this year is to have a Powder Coating demonstration, so if you have any small CLEAN, Paint Free and Oil Free parts bring them along and we may just use them for the demo.

Thanks Again from All of us at ACC

Cool. why don't we do a "How To setup a Ring & Pinion" class and , uuuhhhh, you could.....uhhh...... maaaayyyybeeee ......uuuuuhhhh.....use mine as a class sample. :flipoff2:

I actually considered that but the last diff I set up was a pain in the a## and took me almost 5 hours by the time it was all said and done so I decided against that. However If you bring my your diff and some Greenbacks I would be happy to set it up for you.

5 Hours is too long no doubt. I have the V6 diff and the 5.29 gears, just need to get the setup kit within the next few weeks and it's on it way down to you.

Miranda and I are planning on stopping by to hang out for a little while...

I'm there, hopefully getting wheels PC'd too!

Are we going RED again?

Would love to and feel obligated to but made plans that are taking me north for the weekend. Sorry guys!! Have fun and drink a  for me!

Ya'll have a beer for me, I'll be helping a friend move.

Heard about the burnt jeep removal. Smoking Gun Custom Powder Coating preview

Holy smokes, I about fell out of my chair when that popped up on the screen. WOW

Yeah, Andrew and I are trying to get in touch with the FS so we can offer our assistance in getting that da** piece of crap out of there. I posted it to the Expo Portal b/c those guys run the trails all the time and thought they'd be the most motivated.

The latest in the saga is this:

by STUMPXJ

"I was up at Amicalola last weekend, and we (my buddy and I) pulled this jeep out of that hole. We came around the corner and it was just sitting in the mudhole with a bunch of hillbilly redneck kids trying to figure out how to get it 'unstuck'. Apparently they were up there the night before (Friday night) riding and got stuck there. Only thing is, they were not stuck due to the mud. They swamped and consequently hydrolocked the engine since they tried to go through it too fast. It wouldnt start, so they hiked out to a nearby camp site, where they slept with a borrowed tent, and then had those folks bring them back to the Jeep the next day. I did not get any names unfortunately, but I could certainly identify them if I saw them again.

I pulled them backwards out of the hole, looked over the engine area with them and saw the intake was full of water. I told them it was not going to be driven out of there, but they already had a friend there who was going to tow them off the trail, and his father would pick them up with a car trailer once they got to the highway. I *think* they said they were from Dawsonville?

When we got to the Jeep, the doors were gone, and all the glass had been removed. I asked the kid about that, and he said he was making into his trail rig... He was a little scared once I told him the engine was destroyed. Not sure what entirely was going on with it, but when we left we had no reason to believe it would be abandoned by them. They had a fairly decent gameplan on how to get it out of the woods, and back home.

Please let me know if I can help with anything!
