AC Issue....Cold for a few minutes then hot

Hmm, I wonder if the expansion valve is beginning to give on my 95. After about a hour on the interstate it starts this cycle: gets really cold, then warms for about a minute, then back to cold for a bit and so on till the car is shut off for about a hour.

Sounds like it could be freezing up. Put a gauge on it and see what it reads. MIke

Yeah its gotta be the valve...35$ for one from Advance and a full day to change it in the garage...Damn all

um... line pressure? Hate to sound like a broken record but pressures can tell you a lot and it would be pretty sad if the guy goes through all the trouble of replacing his expansion valve and the problem is something else

well we put it on our machine at work and everything appeared normal...we sucked it down held vacuum and refilled with the correct amount..going to suck it down again today and swap the part this week.....what should the line pressure be?
