On my 1996 Lx450, after changing the AC amplifier circuit board recently (pain to find one procedure reasonably) I got all of my HVAC functions back. The other day it just stopped working again. I pulled the board back out and it's super clean still but 1 little resistor/capacitor popped. Anyone have a fried board with this resistor they would be willing to sell me so I can cut it off and soldering onto mine? Or would someone be willing to pull one of these off a spare board so I can buy 1? If not anyone know the value so I can track 1 down? Thanks mud!

That's a tantalum cap. It is electrolytic (polarized) which is why there is a polarity mark on the PCB.

How would I search for an equivalent replacement to solder on? Thank you so much for your response!

I have never seen any Toyota document that specifies component values. Personally, I would look for someone parting out a truck and pick up a used unit. It should be the same for any 95+ 80 Series.
Was the same cap blown on your original unit? That might point to another issue.
