ABS & TRC &VSC part no. 89540 -60160 on a 100 series

can anyone tell me if the ABS & TRC &VSC part no. 89540 -60160 on a 100 series has to be programmed? dealer wants 850 to install and looking at the forum seems it can be done in under an hour but i cannot find out if it has to be programmed.

yes it is goes under the dash mount to firewall

@BadReligion replaced his ECM a few years ago and can probably tell you whether a new one needs to be programmed or not.

I think its referred to as the skid control ECU but yes the install takes about an hour or less. You will have to use Techstream to reset/recalibrate a system or two but its pretty self explanatory once you are in TS.
