When I went wheeling last week I put it into low like usual and the center lock came on and the abs came on and everything was fine. My lockers worked great, thank god cause I needed them and it all went well. But when I was on my way to leave I put it back into high and the ABS light wouldn't go away. All the other lights did though as usual. So the ABS light is still on. Is this something I should be worried about? Should I just dissconect the battery to make sure it isn't a glitch or what?

Take it to Urban Landcruisers they'll fix it for you. :D

I bet David just loves seeing you. :princess:

Why waste our time. :flipoff2:

Stuckey--you should get new OEM Birfields, axles, and differential gears. Then you should take all of that to David and he'll make a you a real good deal on them....

This is your ONLY OPTION :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

In all seriousness Stuck, maybe you might want to check the sensors at the knuckle housing to make sure they are in place. Better yet, take'em out, clean them off (I assume your truck looks as muddy as Bailey's after that Dawsonville run) and then put them back. Even you can do this Stuckey...

If that doesn't work, maybe the battery disconnect might be a good idea to reset the ABS settings.

If that doesn't work, then you are fawked and have to do what I posted earlier...make sure Dad brings the Visa to ULC!! :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Best.

Yeah it was just as muddy. But I washed it a few days ago with a pressure washer for an hour going under the whole undercarage and I came out looking like the swamp thing. But my rig is clean now! I will try to see how the connections are. Thanks.

Even though you cleaned it really well, it still wouldn't hurt to take the sensors out and check them. Mud can get into places that a pressure washer just can't get to.

Reffug, why is it you feel the need to constantly badger Stuck? This is a tech forum, he posted a tech question, and your response, as is typical of most of you postings in this forum, contains no tech content at all. What's with that?

The handfull of posters who feel the need to dump on stuck for each and every posting he makes is really starting to to be drag, and I think out of line.

I'm seeing more and more clutter in the tech forum. I think a better balance would be more appropriate.

Agreed, I feel the same, way too much needling the poor guy! Enough already!

I'd like to know what the root cause was. Stuck is this still not working?

When the problem is resolved, let us know what it is. I need to add it to the vault.
