Looking for an A440F auto trans and transfercase from an FJ62. Need one to mock up an adapter plate to an Isuzu 4BD1T diesel from an NPR Box truck.

Prefer working, but can be in need of rebuild, need the torque converter as well.

I have several FJ62 parts I need to get rid of. ALL CAME FROM AN 89 fj62 CRUISER.

Complete rear axle - drum to drum - with Aussie locker and 4.11 gears......$200 Will fit FJ60, or FJ40 with mods.
Old Man Emu shocks for a 4" lift. These are a few years old but still serviceable $50
Front and rear stock drive shafts in good usable condition. $40 a piece or $60 for both.
A440F trans with splitcase. Trans slips in upper gears, transfer case in great shape. $200
Grey center console on good shape. $20

Cool. Wasn't sure if you were still looking. Glad it worked out.

If you are going to use an A440F transmission in a diesel (regardless if it Toyota) you are probably going to want to change out the Petrol Govenor for a diesel one. It will shift much better. Also if you are going to build an adapter to the other diesel what Torque converter are you going to use. I would strongly recommend at a minimum you upgrade the original A440F TC to a billet one. or replace it with something else the original 4400 one is very old tech and generates huge heat - a complete pig.

Just your local transmission experts 2 cents :)

Cheers,

Michael

Michael,
I am gonna look at the diesel governor, and compare part numbers. I have been toold that there are just different springs to change the RPM dependant output pressure, so will take a look at that for sure.

Also looking at making an A442F torque converter work for this... Hopefully will have an A442F with converter in the next week or two.

Thanks for the tips!
