as a birthday present to myself I bought some tanks for my torch today. I bought a medium duty victor last fall and was debating renting tanks, but decided to save some money in the long run and just buy them. for under $300 i got one filled oxy-90, one filled acetylene-60, an adapter and a pair of heavy welding gloves. I even got to try it out today (see my build thread...).

yeah man, looks great. fab up a little cart or something for them, too.

it'll keep em from fallin over or gettin bumped. that way you won't knock the regulators off and turn the garage into a mythbusters set, ha ha

Yeah definitely chain them to a cart.
One fell over at the Clemson Physical Plant shop and blew the regulator through the roof. It landed on the football field.
