Made a trip to Wally's today with a back seat full of parts.
Came home with a new bumper!

I bought the 2x4 a few weeks ago and bent the ends up.
The nose hoop and stinger were a xmas gift from Bette.
I've had the D-rings laying around for a few years.
A saginaw box is in the future so Wally figured out where to mount the
winch plate so there will be room for the gearbox.

The side plate on the drivers side extends back for some added strength.
Everything is welded together to form one big heavy unit.
It will be bolted to the frame with 10, half inch grade 8 bolts.

So what color should it be? Black or OD green?

Black it is!
I have to say it was a great day there watching Wally work.
He would stand there and stare at things for a bit then fabricate!
He is a real thinker, plans stuff out and can see the final project
before he starts.
His farm is something else, I'd love to be tucked up in the mountains like he is.
All in all a very good experience dealing with Wally.

do you swap the rims/tires between the trucks? Sweeeeeeeet :) the LTB's look nice on the runner. :)

Yea, swapped them around because I really didn't want to do
the drive over on the swampers.
Those 34's on an unlifted 4Runner rub pretty bad when you
take a sharp turn : )
Looks good but rides like s***!

Looking good.

Looks good. I'd like to do the hoop and stinger setup eventually.

.....He is a real thinker....

I'll take..."things people never say about wally" for $200, alex......

I'am with wildman as well. However, not sure I want a landscaper welding my stuff on either. Are there no professionals around here?

He has fixed more of my idocy than I could ever tell anyone.

He is doing some ureal work nowadays. That 45 bed was nice, and he just did a nie flatbed for his brothers truck.

The unimog 404 frame swap is almost buttoned up as well.

Dosnt realy matter. All the stuff I weld is just dragged around the bottom of cape cod bay anyhow.
