Well, long story short I came within a foot of no longer being around on November 3 in an Audi Ultrasport I had just purchased. I had just sold the Jeep I had wheeled with you guys at Logan's Run 2011; after I put 37's on it and everything started going haywire and I was pretty much fed up with it and wanted something more dependable. The dependable vehicle that I decided on was a dual-intercooled Audi A4 Ultrasport with a Stage 3+ turbo and more race and suspension mods than I can name  Here's the car when I got through with it:

I'm truly lucky to be alive. After settling with my insurance company (thanks to the tireless work of my Dad), I'm looking for a new Cruiser  I don't think that the 2wd world is the world for me  I just made an offer on an 80, so we'll see what happens. When I hear back, I'll post up.

how in the hell did you survive that. You are one lucky man. Where are the details on that story.

HOLY s***! Where were you in that mess??

Story time!!

Damn Will, glad you are okay. How you survived that ^ is beyond me. 80's are such tanks, I'm sure you'll welcome the safety of putzing around in one.

 R

4LOW and GO SLOW Will. Thats crazy. Glad you made it through but how I have no clue
You got some things to be thankful for and Im sure you got a new perspective on life
Enjoy the family and those that love you and still have you around this season.

but man i bet that was a fun ride.......for a little bit :(

I was driver, the door you can see is where I was seated. I probably shouldn't say a lot, but what isn't in dispute is I hit a pole at 65+. To get me out, they had to use the jaws of life and they had to cut the roof off. My buddy walked alway fine since my side took the impact. Broke my leg in half, broke my clavicle, broke my ribs and deflated my lung. I'm lucky I didn't kill myself or my friend, and I surely have a newfound appreciation for home and my family and friends who helped me get through the 3.5 weeks in the hospital.

Dang Will. Glad to see you are still with us though. That is the reason i do not own a CAR. I would get stupid with it. I can get stupid with my cruiser in the woods and know i got a full rollcage.

Holy crap man. Glad your ok!

Full rollcage? Whats that? :D

Welcome back!

Holy crap Will that's a bad one..... And ice seen some bad ones from my stupid street racing years. You got someone looking out for you bud

Should be in my new 80 by the end of next week. Technically LX450. Very excited. She's getting driven across the country so it souls be a nice shakedown. Too bad I can't drive it yet! Gotta say I loved building the Jeep, but it was a pain to DD and there were no clubs like ONSC. I think I met most of you when I was 16 or 17 and I have yet to wheel with a better group of guys. Looking forward to being back in the fold.

Glad you're ok man. That is one nasty looking wreck!

i honestly dont see where two people fit in there. Good Lord yall are lucky.

That's crazy Will. Thankfully you and your friend are ok.

You got a sweet LX coming. Hope you enjoy it!

Still unreal pics.

Will I have a T-shirt for you and your Dad from this years Logan's run that i'll either mail to you or just get to you next time I see you. Had been trying to get ahold of Ed for a while but now I see why he's be unavailable.

That experience will definatley put things into perspective for you.
