Here is the frame rails, cross members and main brackets for the FJ40 (I had a 1977), so these are based off that year model. When I checked the major measurements from Toyota, I think I was off by .5mm, so it's very close, close enough to design bumpers and box in plates for your frame. I did not include the angled member supports in the rear, I just have really never finished it, but here's what I have.

FJ40 Frame Build Model (it's in step format, that should cover just about everyones needs) if your downloads ends in .stp.txt, just delete the .txt and that will fix the step file

No more 40? I liked where you were going with that but if I remember you moved up in size? I still have that drawing you did with the roof rack for the 40. I remember you were working on that cad frame drawing, thanks for sharing.

It worked! Very cool, thanks for sharing. There is a website called GrabCad that has all sorts of free models you, and others, might be interested in.

No time, we are so slammed at work, the only time I get to drive the 60's are to and from work, lol. Yeah, the 40 was sold, it was parked in the front yard one day and a guy drove by, stopped in, made an offer and it was a done deal. I do miss driving with the doors and top off and WS down, but now the whole family can all go in one vehicle. I may add a couple more models, if so you'll see them on this post.

Hope you guys enjoy them, I wish I had a complete body done, but now I no longer have to body to measure from, I was able to get most of my rear tub done and you'll most likely see that posted up soon along with a couple cage ideas and a rear bumper idea.

What software are most of ya'll using, is the .stp format good or would you rather have something else?

Worked great in sortaworks.

Thanks for doing this. I tried to do this by scanning the pages of the FSM and scaling but could not get the scale to match the dims in the FSM.
