Was down this morning to the new auto storage yards where vehicles are held until delivery date.I counted roughly 40 FJ's of all colors in the yard!! Was down at the dealer as well where they have a life size cut-out of the FJ in their showroom. The official release date of these units is March21- right across Canada. Hope my yellow FJ is in that first batch!!

Congrats on your future FJ!!!!! - excellent choice! Can't wait to get mine as well!!

sweet....im going to head down and try to get a test drive...

I don't think the dealerships have anything yet - I called Heninger and they told me they might have a demo available early next week. My guess is that the 27th will be the earliest you can actually touch one.

what is the price going to be for a manual, with cloth interior, and the 4x4 package?

Not sure what package you are refering to - base, B or C. Within Calgary, all of the dealers seem to be selling for MSRP so if you take a look at the Toyota web site (www.Toyota.ca) you can check out all of the pricing.

High River is actually willing to give a discount on MSRP if you are good with a 30 minute drive.

They dont look too bad, but they arent a RUBICON.

2006 Flame Red RUBICON
Dana 44's on both ends
6 speed manual

rjp1 are you getting one of these bad boys? what are you driving right now?

I'm supposed to pick it up on the 28th but, from everything I have seen, the dates seem to be fuzzy.

I actually just have a car right now - want an SUV as it's currently a PIA to get the mountain bike out to the trail (not to mention bringing the muddy bike / owner home). Also want to get out x-country skiing more. I was going to pick up a Taco but, late last year, found the FJ - seems like a good match. Like the idea of the full time 4wd for winter driving - something the Taco didn't have. Might get offroad in a few years - can't see it happening right away though.
